Baby Shower #4 and #5!!

Shower #4:
On Thursday, May 15, 2008 I had my work shower here with another girl who is pregnant and due in September. It was a wonderful shower! Again I was spoiled! I will post pictures as soon as I get them.

Shower #5:
On Friday, May 16, 2008 Dan's work had a shower for us! It was so thoughtful and wonderful! We again were so amazed at how thoughtful people were and how blessed not only we are but Baby Beanut! When the pictures get posted, take a look at the balloons and the cake that was done in the theme of Beanut's room! It was awesome and a great start to the weekend!

Baby Shower #2!!

On Sunday, May 4th, 2008 my mom, sister, and good friend Melissa hosted an open house baby shower for all of our friends and family. It was so much fun!! There were 68 people invited, and about 58 people showed. It was a beautiful day...which I was glad for because my mom, dad, Dan, and I had worked on the house for about 2 weeks before the shower to get things ready. Oh...did I forget to mention the shower was at my house. Well most of you probably know since you were invited! Dan and I were overwhelmed by how blessed we were...so many people came to see the baby room, me...and not to mention the amount of baby stuff that was given to us! Also, my friend Moneca flew in from California and I was able to see family and friends I haven't seen for a while.

There was tons of yummy food, fun games, and all the little girls were having fun too! Check out a few of the pictures. Moneca took a ton, however, there were way too many to post. On the food table pay attention to the diaper cake that Melissa made me! How fun is that!!

Baby Shower Time!!! Shower #1

Dan and I have been so blessed by the generosity of our friends, family, kindergarten students, and co-workers! We have had a total of 4 baby showers!

Shower #1: Pictures to follow. My first shower was hosted by a student and her mom in my PM Kindergarten class on Friday, May 2, 2008. The shower was essentially for the students. We played three games: Baby Bingo, How Big is Mommy?, and Pin the Binki on the Baby! Then we opened gifts and had cake! The students had a great time, I had a great time, and I got some awesome gifts. I have to say during the, How Big is Mommy? game, two students correctly guessed how big around I was. They must have a great teacher!! I have such thoughtful students and families. The mother that put on the shower even made Baby Beanut a quilt made with all these soft materials. I will post pictures here when I get them!

Baby Room Pictures

Here are the long awaited pictures of her room! The first one is a panoramic that Elise and Dave took. Elise is the one that pained the baby room for a gift! She did an awesome job. The rest of them, my friend Moneca took during the shower. Doesn't she have a lot of clothes. We will never have to do laundry, we will just throw it away when it gets dirty...Just kidding! The laundry basket full of diapers was a gift from very close family friends...Moneca's mom is like my second mom and she bought me diapers along with my mom...I think we will be set for a week!

Am I done being pregnant yet???

Originally at the beginning of May, after my baby shower I was going to post the pictures of the baby room, catch everyone up, and so on. Until, the Monday following my shower, all my fingers, but my thumb went numb in my writing hand. I looked it up online, called the doctor, and lucky me...I have pregnancy induced carpal tunnel!!! So everyone, thank you cards are coming, I just can only do a few at a time because my hand goes numb. Same with this typing...I can't feel my fingers right now!! So bare with me during these last 4 weeks and so many days...I will try my best to keep things updated!
