The Month of April!

So during Spring Break, April 7th-11th, I worked everyday to complete Beanut's room. My mom and dad came over from about 11:00ish everyday till about 5;30pm to help out. Everything is almost done, Elise is finishing the lamp and a piece of artwork and then I am done. Wait, Dan has to also change out the thermostat...then we are done. The cats seem to like the crib, they enjoy hiding under it. Isabella the oldest, jumps on the dresser and jumps into the crib when we aren't looking and the youngest, Maisey, rolls around on the pink and brown carpet. My mom caught them several times running out of the baby's room when we would head back towards the room after leaving for just a moment. It is such a relief to have it done I can't tell you! My parents are exhausted, I am exhausted, but as my mom says, "if you were to have the baby tomorrow, would you be ready?" To that question I must answer yes, however, I still need diapers and wipes!!! At this point with 9weeks and 6days left to go, I just hope I make it! Someone is going to have to roll me down the hill. Although, I do have to say, exciting news, I passed my glucose test with flying colors, however, my iron is low, that is the only draw back! I will post pictures of the baby room soon! I am headed home to go to another birthing class!

Random Pictures...Snow and Baby Furniature

Sometime in March...Dan also put the changing table together!
I am not sure if he has had too much fun! But check out the pictures!

Isabella is making sure he is reading the directions correctly.

Also-during the end of March....we received some Spring Snow!! Did you notice the Easter sign?

It only got worse as the day went on!

We Didn't Fall Off the Earth...I Promise!!!

Since February a lot has gone on...let me just give you a quick summary! During the month of March, my sister painted the walls and closet in the baby room for my birthday gift back in January...it looks so great! She almost killed me though because she didn't realize she was going to need so many coats of white on the ceiling and in the closet. Following that, our friend Elise began the mural on the Beanut's wall...after several hours she finished the mural. It looks awesome! That was our baby gift from Dave and Elise! On top of that, it was Decker's 7th birthday and I finished my Professional Certification. Yes...I am now a REAL teacher! I have finished everything and more in the area of teaching, just have a few more degrees that I probably won't get. Anyhoo- the Professional Certification was due the last Saturday in March and I had to present! I got an Excellent on it, and I feel like my body is just getting back to normal. Oh did I mention I had 50 report cards to do in all of that time too? Myself and one other teacher presented to all the parents for the District Kinderfest...and we even started Birthing classes....that is a whole other blog. Check out the pictures from the murals painting below. There is even a picture to update you on how many weeks I was-it was somewhere between 24 and 26 weeks that Elise took the picture!

Here is a picture of the beginning of Elise's handwriting.

Here is a cute little wall art she painted so she could sample drawing the flowers.

Here is FAT me....yuck!:o)

Tada...all done!
