8 Week Pictures!!!

Well as I am writing about how Kalia was at 8 weeks, she is actually 9 weeks...however, I will write about that next. Last week...when Kalia was 8 weeks, or 2 months, however you would like to refer to it....it was crazy around her. Kalia was giggling most of the day, taking just little naps, and doing well. However, at night time the "terrible two-month two's" hit-she cries at the top of her lungs and gets herself going so much that she starts to cough and gag....I wonder where she got that temperament from?? We went to the grocery store for the first time, just Kalia and I. We made it, but boy was it an adventure!! We also went and saw great-grandma Radcliffe with my two nephews, Decker and Judd, as well as my sister. Afterwards we went to a consignment store and picked her up a portable aquarium swing for when we are on the go. We also visited the school I work at for the second time and said hello to everyone there.

As far as gains she has made, she holds up her head during tummy time, and when I put her on her side to look at toys, she rolls over! She learned how to hold a rattle on her own and likes to bat at the toys that hang from her car seat. She takes a bottle more frequently now and unfortunately has taken a liking to formula....however, still is breastfeeding too! She is now getting use to the car and falls asleep in it, however, she doesn't like to sit in her car seat too long if it is clipped in her stroller.....so we are on a hunt for a new stroller...any suggestions? Other then that things are good!
Kalia taking a nap with her daddy! She finally went to sleep after "crying a storm."

Kalia getting ready to go to church in her lemon outfit...she has lemons on her shirt, pants, socks, and the shoes are also from the same line!! I love the fruit lines from Gymboree!Kalia holding a rattle...I think she was trying to figure out how to get it out of her hands, now that she can finally hold it.Kalia taking a nap with her favorite bumpy blanket...a very good friend of mine had it made, it is called a Gigi Blanket.
