Yes you heard right...I forgot to mention in the previous post that about 5 days prior to finding out we were pregnant, Dan and I decided to get tattoos. Oops-If I knew I was pregnant I probably would have waited! Anyway, this was something that we had both been wanting to do since we met, and so we did the research and found a great tattoo parlor that has been around for a while, "Everett Tattoo Emporium!" Dan and I both decided to get tattoos that would make a statement of our beliefs and how we live our lives. Since Dan and I are so involved in our church and have made a choice to follow Christ whole-heartily in everything we do, we decided to both get a cross. Dan just got a Celtic cross between his should blades and I chose to get a cross and the word Faith above it on my lower back because having faith in God and knowing that he is there, in control, and has a plan for everything we do is so important to me, as well as Dan. When we told our Pastor, all he could do was laugh at us...partially I am sure because he has a tatoo too and knows how they hurt! He wanted to come down and video tape the whole thing since we did it right after church on a Saturday night! Thank goodness he didn't!
